Featuring two sides, one to toast the year about to end and the other to toast the new year once it arrives, these glasses were made to usher in the new millennium in 2000. I don’t usually collect glassware this new but these are so odd and New Yearsish as to become Kitsch.
Happy last day of 2009 and I’ll see you on the other side!

Hope no one was wearing suede on New Year’s Eve of ’99/’00. These glasses were a recipe for dry cleaning disaster.

wow!!!! My grandmas house has that SAME counter top and orange seats…her seats are actually benches attached to the walls in the rec room and matching vinyl bar stools and vinyl covered walls with studs
Allee
The tabletop is original 1950’s boomerang pattern formica. The seat is a U-shaped booth attached to the walls and is pink with salmon piping. Do you have photos of your grandma’s rec room? If so, you should put them in The Allee Willis Museum of Kitsch at awmok.com!
