And so it begins! Our musical, THE COLOR PURPLE, begins its journey to becoming a MOVIE musical produced by Scott Sanders, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, and Quincy Jones! Today Scott introduced me, Brenda Russell, and Stephen Bray, the composer/lyricists, to the screenwriter, Marcus Gardley. Loved him. Loved all being together again. Excellent purple day all around!!!!
