OPAL, owner and operator of a Soul Food restaurant on Lily’s second CBS Special, 1973. This special won two Emmy Awards: Best Special and Best Writing in a Special. The sketch, Juke and Opal, was written by Jane Wagner for Lily’s guest, Richard Pryor.
