Bubbles’ the artist’s desk as she mass produces an order of “Stir It Up by Patti LaBelle”. As these were drying Bubbles completed her maskterful portrait of Sidney Poiter as a pot smoking pimp in “Broccolis of the Field”

My friends, Maxine Lapidus and Hillary Carlip, threw a party in 2004 and assigned every guest a recipe out of The Frank and Barbara Sinatra Palm Springs Cookbook. I got Sidney Poitier’s Sauteed Broccoli. I added way too much butter and severely overcooked it and it was DELICIOUS. You also had to do a performance piece matching your recipe. I demonstrated the relationship between Sidney Poitier’s pimp portrayal in the 1975 film ‘Let’s Do It Again’ and broccolli and pot in Bubbles the artist’s touching portrait entitled “Sidney Poitier – Broccolis Of the Field“. Lisa of Wendy & Lisa bought the painting.
