Tequila Shooter

So as it turns out, “the way the west was won” somehow involved gun-shaped bottles of tequila. This lovely liquor pistol (hand numbered as being “Bottella No. 11349″) from Mexican bottlers Hijos de Villa comes with two shot glasses and an “exhibition base,” which (dangerously) consists of a small scrap of cardboard that folds up into a triangle. If there’s any question as to why Hijos de Villa decided to combine alcoholic beverages with firearm imagery, on the back of the package they explain that in “following our old tradition we are reminiscing and toasting to our anniversary of successfully providing you with excellence and friendship.” I picked this little souvenir up on a recent trip to the kitschy Dutch village of Solvang a couple hours north of Los Angeles.

What Allee has to say about this:
Beautiful! I don’t really drink and when I do it’s not Tequila but this bottle could drive me to it.
