I spent a solid week locked up in a room with these gentlemen the week before last as we lunged toward a deadline to get a song ready for the LA Pride<\/a> parade, though complications threw a big fat monkey wrench into the until then well-oiled operation. Which leaves us with a KILLER song we are now about to pitch. The song\u2019s so good because for me, the vibe of the room is always reflected in the vibe of the song. In this case, with enough laughter and fried chicken to keep us going for another 5 songs if we had to. I love all these guys: ShyBoy<\/a> a.k.a. Jason Arnold, Mark Nubar<\/a>, Jeff Hoeppner<\/a>, who I\u2019ve written much with over the past few years, and my incredible friend and collaborator of the last 100 years, Bruce Roberts<\/a>. As important as music, fresh application of lipstick is a must. As is good scenery.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
