On June 4, 2018, the perfect confluence of events collided for a party right in my own backyard, THE party spot in LA, Willis Wonderland. The musical I co-wrote, The Color Purple, opened at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood just days before I was off to New York to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
