If two more beautiful canines exist in the world I don't know where they could be chained up. Commissioned for portraiture by their precious owners, Dan and Jenna Adler, I am confidant I have finally developed a solid technique of rendering the exquisite poodle fur that graces these canines' subtle bodies. The Adlers are great patrons of mine and I thank the finely dressed Jenna and her handsome husband Dan for their continued patronage. I had the great joy of painting all four Adlers - Daisy, Astro, mom and dad - last holiday season. Daisy and Astro weigh in at 11" x 14" and are brushed in heavy acrylic on canvasboard.
