Short of throwing a twinkie into a kiln, it takes an eternity for the thing to dry out, even if it&#8217;s long escaped its plastic packaging. But self sufficient or not, Twinkie The Kid is the perfect road companion for your creme filled bundle of spongy and ageless sugar fun.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2350.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33676\" title=\"twinkie-case_2350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2350.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2350.jpg 338w, https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2350-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/><\/a>\n<p>I&#8217;m not at all sure how a cowboy fits the baked goods picture, but the cowboy hat is very easy to flip up and insert the sugary log into.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2352.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33677\" title=\"twinkie-case_2352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2352.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2352.jpg 338w, https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case_2352-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Although of no practical use whatsoever other than getting caught in things and breaking off easily, I really\u00a0like The Kid&#8217;s little Pillsbury dough boy hands.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-hands_23511.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33764\" title=\"twinkie-case-hands_2351\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-hands_23511.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-hands_23511.jpg 450w, https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-hands_23511-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>\n<p>His boots are cute too, though getting Twinkie Boy to stand up on his own, especially if he&#8217;s fully loaded, is not an easy feat.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-feet_2351.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33765\" title=\"twinkie-case-feet_2351\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-feet_2351.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"329\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-feet_2351.jpg 329w, https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/twinkie-case-feet_2351-219x300.jpg 219w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 329px) 100vw, 329px\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Cases for food like this always intrigue me. I understand a case for something perishable like fruits and vegetables, like say for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awmok.com\/2010\/07\/26\/allee-willis-kitsch-o-the-day-\u2013-japanese-portable-banana-keeper\/\">banana<\/a>.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/banana-case_450-4050.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33767\" title=\"banana-case_450-4050\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/banana-case_450-4050.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/banana-case_450-4050.jpg 450w, https:\/\/alleewillis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/banana-case_450-4050-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>\n<p>But something as stupid looking as The Twinkie Kid could easily trick a kid into thinking the foodstuff within is fresh and therefore good for them, if not as much fun as the casing.
