Breaking for lunch during the writing of Fat Girl.\" data-footer=\"(L-R) Me, April Winchell and Prudence Fenton.\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-lQwF9jV7\" data-imagelightbox=\"0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\">Prudence Fenton<\/a>, animation and special effects director for PeeWee&#8217;s Playhouse, producer of Peter Gabriel&#8217;s Steam and Big Time videos among a zillion other things, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/aw-pf-aw2.jpg?image=250\" data-toggle=\"lightbox\" data-title=\"LA, 2000.\" data-footer=\"(L-R) Me, Prudence Fenton and April Winchell\nduring the writing of Fat Girl. \" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-lQwF9jV7\" data-imagelightbox=\"1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\">April Winchell<\/a>, voice actress\/radio personality\/comedienne extraordinaire. I co-art directed with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bubblestheartist.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bubbles the artist<\/a> and the title song was the first collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/awawbrsb.jpg?image=250\" data-toggle=\"lightbox\" data-title=\"LA, 2002.\" data-footer=\"(L-R) Me, Alice Walker, Brenda Russell and Stephen Bray during the writing of the Broadway musical The Color Purple.\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-lQwF9jV7\" data-imagelightbox=\"2\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\">myself, Brenda Russell and Stephen Bray<\/a>, my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleewillis.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/grp-dir-prod-authors.jpg?image=250\" data-toggle=\"lightbox\" data-title=\"September 17th, 2004, opening night of The Color Purple at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta.\" data-footer=\"(l-r) Scott Sanders - producer, Stephen Bray - composer\/lyricist, Alice Walker \u2013bookwriter, Marsha Norman \u2013 theatrical bookwriter, Brenda Russell - composer\/lyricist, Gary Griffin - director, and me - composer\/lyricist.\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-lQwF9jV7\" data-imagelightbox=\"3\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\">Color Purple collaborators<\/a>.
