I co-created, art directed, co-scored and co-wrote the title song for Fat Girl, a series of animated shorts that ran on the Oxygen Network for two years in a program called X-Chromosomes. I created the series with Prudence Fenton, animation and special effects director for PeeWee’s Playhouse, producer of Peter Gabriel’s Steam and Big Time videos among a zillion other things, and April Winchell, voice actress/radio personality/comedienne extraordinaire. I co-art directed with Bubbles the artist and the title song was the first collaboration between myself, Brenda Russell and Stephen Bray, my Color Purple collaborators. The entire series was drawn, recorded, animated and edited at the my house in 1999 and 2000.
