The challenge of capturing the massive beehive atop the head of Dusty Springfield, one of the most influential singers of the 20th Century as well as someone who sang three of, my songs, was too much for my alter-ego. Bubbles the artist, to resist. As such, she commemorated the singer and her hair on a series of ceramic plates and bowls for her "Bubbles Goes Gay" art exhibition in L.A. 2004.
