I absolutely love cookbooks like this where the foods don’t necessarily have anything to do with what the title of the cookbook is and some editor arbitrarily repurposes everything, most likely from other cookbooks they’ve already printed, somehow justifying that it applies. I can buy the Cheese Club Sandwich, the Pork ‘N Bean Bake and maybe the Macaroni Camp Style but since when does Caesar Salad qualify as a ‘man’s’ dish? I also love that shrimp cocktail sauce is being offered up as an actual dish. It’s my favorite part of a shrimp cocktail but you’d think that a cover photo might feature an actual shrimp or two.
