Nearly every time I go to a garage sale or thrift store, I confront the penetrating stare of a poor, forlorn being. Sometimes it’s a little girl or boy, sometimes a puppy or some other castaway cutie, but the most potent sad eyes belong to the pitty kitty. Be it the poster, the figurine, or in this case, the vase, poor little pitty kitty is just begging to be loved. Who could leave such an orphan abandoned and alone? Certainly not me.
