Napoleon as a dog. Just part of the PDC’s bad painting collection. Might appeal to upper crust clients on the train from Boston to DC. Go figure.

I absolutely love the Pacific Dining Car. Not for the food, which I think is kind of average and overpriced, but for the ambience as exemplified in this Officer Dog painting. If you check out my “Kitschified Los Angeles” video on YouTube you’ll see the PDC sign with the two plastic bulls featured. My favorite thing about this painting is the way the light hits the dog’s fur on top of his head.
